In order to reduce losses and save energy supplies, as well as to improve the accounting and operational control of energy consumption for enterprises with power-consuming industries "Yerenergo" CJSC proposes to introduce the Automated Information Measuring Systems of Monitoring and Accounting of Electricity - ASCAEE, based on the application of of the new, updated EuroAlpha meters and AlphaCenter measuring-calculation complex.

The newest elaboration of Elster Metronica company - AlphaCenter measuring-calculation complex (MCC) of accounting system, is designed for measuring and accounting of electrical energy and power and for the auto acquisition, processing and keeping the data from the electrical energy meters, and for recording the received information in a suitable way for analysis. The system provides the company management with error-free, well-timed and high-accuracy information for making true business decisions.

ASCAEE system in the parallel operation produces fully automatic items:

• Data collection from the meters and controllers through the dedicated and switched communication channels.
• Self-diagnosis and diagnosis of lower level components.
• Conducting calculations (balancing accounts)
• Analysis of full data and completion of calculation of insufficient data.
• Maintain of united system timing with aim to provide synchronous measurement.
• Lurking the raise of the capacity beyond the given limits.

The data are transmitted to the server in the rate of scanning the meters and are displayed on a monitor in real-time mode. The database is generated on the server, the features of viewing the printing account forms and file composition in layout. The data transfer is realized both directly form the meters and by communication channels with assisting of modems and converters.

Multifunctional, microprocessor-based electric power meter of Euro Alpha production is the most powerful active energy meter as of today. It is assigned for accounting of active and reactive energy and power in alternating-current circuits (AC circuits), as well as for use in structure of automated control system and accounting of electrical energy (ASCAEE) for transferring measured or calculated parameters to the control station by monitoring, accounting and distribution of electrical energy.

At detection by counter a clause which can affect its normal operation or data security recorded in memory a conversion of Error mode occurs (Er + error code). All the necessary data for ensuring the accuracy of the results of multi rate calculation are contained in volatile memory EEPROM.
